I could not figure out which way to do subnetting theres Odom's interesting octet, Lammles block counting, Paul Browns subnet matrix in the end I found Chris's use of bit notation the one that suited. He's a pretty good teacher. I think he's one of the best out there. Plus if you ever need anything he responds to emails fast.

You know cbt nuggets makes a ccie video series. It has a learning curve. Want to add to the discussion? I also have not gotten all the way through it, but the amount of information you get is insanely good for the price. Easy enough to follow along with his labs using packet tracer just set up identical interfaces and protocols to them by downloading the videos and pausing in your video player to copy the topology diagrams. Chris does not muck around he says in five minutes what others instructors take twenty minutes to complete.
He's a pretty good teacher. His video presentation is spot on and very well scripted as is his use of the IOS exec and debugging commands.

It is pretty complete, but it was missing a couple of cxna newly added topics RSTP stood out as not being covered. Had a question about one of the books and he answered within an hour. It has a GUI section to quickly add ip addresses to equipment so you can quickly get topologies. Jeremy makes it fun and exciting and keeps you entertained but my biggest complaint with him is you never know what you brhant be writing down and what is the entertainment aspect.

If you can pick it up on sale go for it, even full price it's still worth it as he usually gives the CCNA Security out for free with it. Clearly states concepts and goes into details, without losing your attention. All opinions stated are those of the poster only, and do not reflect the opinion of Cisco Systems Inc. I'll take the down votes to stand against that nonsense. Just my opinion of course.
